MIDDLETOWN - After three days of trial, a Middletown man obtained a successful settlement from an incident where debris and poor lighting caused him to fall in his apartment building. As a result of the fall, the man fractured his right ankle, resulting in two surgeries and a permanent limp. The law firm of Sobo & Sobo represented the accident victim, and successfully argued in New York Supreme Court that the landlord caused the fall by leaving debris in the dark hallway. "Sobo & Sobo fought really hard for me", said the accident victim. "The firm's preparation for trial really made the difference", he said. More details about the settlement can be obtained by calling Sobo & Sobo and 343-SOBO in Middletown. 22 NYCRR 1200.1 requirement:
