MIDDLETOWN - An Orange County woman was awarded the defendant's entire motor vehicle insurance policy for serious injuries to her back, resulting from a car accident on Route 17 in Orange County. The accident caused a herniated disc in her lower back, resulting in surgery. The insurance company claimed that the herniated disc was the result of aging, not the crash. Gregory Sobo, Esq., of Sobo & Sobo, successfully argued that the crash caused the victim's injuries. "Herniated discs are extremely painful", Sobo said. "And there is a big difference between pack pain that is caused by aging and back pain that us caused by a car accident."
