Middletown - An Orange County woman was awarded the defendant's entire motor vehicle insurance policy for serious injuries that she suffered to her shoulder as a result of a car accident on July 10, 2005, in Monticello. The accident caused a torn rotator cuff, requiring surgery to repair. The insurance company first claimed that the defendant did not have insurance, but Sobo & Sobo successfully argued that the defendant did have insurance. The defendant's insurance company then settled for the maximum amount under the policy.
