MIDDLETOWN, NY - A Middletown motorcyclist was awarded the maximum amount of the defendant's insurance limit after suffering an injury to his leg in an accident that occurred on July 23, 2005. A car pulled into the biker's path from a side street in Middletown, but the driver of the car claimed that the accident was the biker's fault for failing to stop in time to avoid the accident. The law firm of Sobo & Sobo represented the biker and achieved the settlement by proving that the accident was not the fault of the biker. "Many times, bikers are blamed for accidents that are not their fault", said Greg Sobo. "The injuries bikers suffer because of someone else's carelessness can be devastating". More details of the settlement can be obtained by calling Sobo & Sobo at 343-SOBO in Middletown. 22 NYCRR 1200.1 requirement:
