Sobo & Sobo Achieves Successful Settlement for Construction Worker
|
Middletown - A construction worker from Middletown achieved a successful settlement on February 28, 2007, for serious injuries he suffered when the scaffold he was standing on collapsed, causing him to fall approximately ten feet. As a result of the fall, the worker suffered serious injuries to both shoulders, resulting in surgery. The defendants argued that the construction worker caused the fall. The law firm of Sobo & Sobo represented the victim and won its argument that the fall was caused by the faulty scaffold and not the fault of the worker. Sobo & Sobo also argued that the worker would never be able to return to his job in construction. "Sobo & Sobo never stopped believing in my case", said the worker.
