On October 26, many employees of Sobo & Sobo will be participating in The Mid-Hudson Valley Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk. This event raises money for research into the disease. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. at 1500 Route 9D in Wappinger Falls, NY. We are doing so, in part inspired by one of our employee’s recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. To support her, we’ve established “Team Jean” here. You can learn more about how you can help, read below.

The folks at the Lustgarten Foundation, who are organizing the walk, have established an area of their website set aside for Team Jean. For those of us who would like to join the team:

- Under “Fundraise for my registration fee,” increase the “0” to a “1” then click “reserve”
- Enter all requested information and click “next” to complete your registration
- Each registered participant will then receive their own “personal fundraising page” and they can share the link to their page with family & friends to help us raise even more awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research
